MEMBER’S CHOICE® Mechanical Repair Coverage can help deflect some risk of costly future, covered repairs keeping your vehicle running extra miles and extra years. With different coverage levels and deductibles to choose, there’s a plan to fit your family’s budget.

Whether you depend on your vehicle for work or getting your family to school and activities, you need transportation that’s safe and reliable. The older your vehicle, the more it takes to keep it in good working order. Not making small repairs can lead to even more expensive repairs and ignoring other repairs can be dangerous.

Benefits of the program*:

  • Substitute Transportation Reimbursement: Up to $50 per day for a maximum of 10 days, available on the first day of a covered repair. Rideshare options are now available in addition to traditional Rental Car options. (Rideshare, Taxi or Public Transportation is on a reimbursement basis)
  • 24-hour emergency roadside assistance: Up to $125 per occurrence; includes towing, battery jumpstart, fluid delivery, flat tire assistance and lock-out service. Roadside extraction is covered for all states except CA
  • Travel expense reimbursement: Up to $200 per day (5-day maximum) for lodging, food, and transportation expenses when a covered breakdown occurs 100 miles or more from home and your vehicle is held overnight at a repair facility
  • Transferable: to increase resale value. Only if sold privately.Subject to transfer fee.
  • Key replacement: Up to $800 per occurrence for the repair or, if nonrepairable, the replacement of lost, stolen, or damaged keys (including fob and/or remote) including any programming. Deductible doesn’t apply
  • Paintless dent repair: Provides for the repair of dings and dents, no larger than 4 inches in length/diameter, that are within an accessible area on a body panel of your vehicle and that are repairable through existing paintless dent repair techniques. Deductible doesn’t apply
  • Commercial / Rideshare Use: Permitted commercial purposes include but are not limited to: vehicles used by a single driver for sales/services (e.g., Uber/Lyft, real estate, cleaning services, home health/aide care services and gardening) or light duty contracting (e.g., electrician, carpenter, and plumber)
  • Lift/leveling/lowering kit: Pays for covered breakdowns when your vehicle is equipped with a lift kit not to exceed 6 inches, a leveling kit not to exceed 2.5 inches, or a lowering kit not to exceed 2 inches (lift kit or leveling kit components themselves are not covered)
  • Mobility equipment: Provides coverage for mobility equipment components when installed by the manufacturer or a licensed, manufacturer-authorized installer
  • Shocks & struts: Shocks and struts are covered under Platinum plans
  • Add-on Term/Miles: Provides add-on term/add-on miles so the member only pays for the amount of coverage they need. Coverage does not revert back to original vehicle in-service date
  • Convenient: Good at any authorized repair facility in the continental United States of America, Alaska, Hawaii or Canada
  • No out-of-pocket expense: Except for any deductible, the administrator pays the repair facility (via corporate credit card) directly for the covered repair
  • Transferable: If you sell your vehicle privately (within 30 days from the date of sale), the coverage can be transferred (for a $50 administrative fee), adding resale value and appeal
  • 60 day “Trial offer”: Receive a full refund for an unused agreement within the first 60 days, or a pro-rated refund thereafter less an administrative fee
