Abri Credit Union's Two $1,000 College Scholarship Winners

The Abri Credit Union scholarship program awards one graduating high school senior and one existing higher education student $1,000 to use towards their college tuition. ACU is excited to announce the 2024 winners; Brinlee McNabb and Sterling Fitch! Scholarship applicants are required to submit a 60-second video or a 500 word essay that conveyed a clear, clever message about one of two topics. This year's winners submitted an essay about why it’s important to follow a budget, especially in college, and how the budget can help them with their future financial success.

Brinlee McNabb is currently a high school senior at Lockport Township High School. She plans to major in kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Her dream job is to be a physical therapist.

Sterling Fitch is a current college student at Joliet Junior College. He is currently finishing up his applied science major in Electrical Engineering Automated Systems (EEAS). His dream job would be developing automated control systems for businesses.
