* If other ATMs charge transaction or access fees, these will be passed along and reflected on your statement.

Once we receive your completed application your card(s) will arrive in 10 to 14 days, followed separately by your Personal Identification Number (PIN) a few days later.

Important Reminders ...

  • Always protect your Abri Debit Card & Personal Identification Number (PIN) as you would cash, checks, and credit cards.
  • DO NOT keep your PIN with your Abri Debit Card and always keep it confidential!
  • Keep your receipts when making purchases & ATM transactions with your card and record them in your check register when you return home.
  • You may make point-of-sale purchases up to the available balance in your checking account (less any ATM withdrawals). Transactions in excess of the available balance will be declined.
  • Remember your Abri Debit Card is Not a Credit Card. Debit Card transactions are automatically withdrawn from your checking account.
  • When making point-of-sale purchases tell the merchant you plan to pay with VISA as a "Credit" and sign for purchases whenever possible. Signing for purchases saves your credit union money - using your PIN costs Abri. Sign we SAVE - PIN we Pay!
  • When traveling out of the country notify Abri beforehand. In an effort to prevent fraud, VISA monitors card activity and spending habits of every cardholder. If your card is used out of the country or out of your normal shopping pattern, Visa will attempt to contact you to verify that you are actually performing the transactions. If they are unable to reach you, they may temporarily put a hold on your account in an effort to stop fraudulent activity. By notifying Abri, Visa will have a record of your travels and will know that you are personally using your card in a foreign country.
