Abri Credit Union's Two $1,000 College Scholarship Winners

The Abri Credit Union scholarship program awards a graduating high school senior and an existing higher education student a $1,000 college scholarship to use towards their college tuition. ACU is excited to announce Erin Kay and Victoria Martin as the two winners for the $1,000 Abri college scholarship. Scholarship applicants were required to submit a 500 word essay or a 60-second video/commercial that conveyed a clear, clever message of their financial knowledge on a choice of topics.

Erin Kay will graduate from Lincoln-Way Central High School in the spring. She wrote the winning essay for the $1,000 College Scholarship that is awarded to a graduating high school student. Erin will be attending Iowa State University to major in Pre-Vet/Animal Science.

Erin was presented with her scholarship on March 7th by Abri's President/CEO, Brian Cedergren at our Frankfort Branch.

Victoria Martin is a student at The University of Evansville and is the winner of the $1,000 scholarship that is awarded to a current college student. Victoria is currently majoring in creative writing and psychology and minoring in classical studies. She also submitted a winning essay!

Victoria was presented with her scholarship check on March 5th at our Woodridge Branch by Abri's President/CEO, Brian Cedergren.
