Fresh Start Checking
Fresh Start Checking is available to members who do not qualify for other ACU checking accounts due to prior difficulties maintaining a positive account balance. We understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances causing financial hardship. In keeping with the credit union philosophy “People Helping People”, we think everyone deserves a second chance.
To be eligible for Fresh Start Checking you must have all reported ChexSystem charge-offs paid in full.

If your account is kept in good standing for 12 months you can request to have the account reviewed and change to another ACU checking account type.
